Question
What are the directions to the state park?
Answer
Stay on HWY 4 the whole way to the state park, you should pass angels camp, Murphy’s then Arnold. It’s about an hour and half drive from Modesto area. Once arrived at the state park entrance, ask for directions from the park ranger, also letting them know you are guests for our wedding. The ceremony area will be located on the North Grove side of the park. There are signs that also point to the areas. Any questions or concerns please notify Melissa or Josh ahead of time

Do I have to pay for state park entrance?
Answer
Melissa and Josh are paying for all park entrance fees, once arrived at the front entrance let park rangers know that you are guests for our wedding. They will give a slip for you to tape on your vehicle.

Will there be seating at the ceremony ?
Answer
There will only be around 25 chairs available for elderly, children and parents of bride & groom. Our apologies, other guest will have to stand during the ceremony. During our reception there will be plenty of chairs for all guests

Is the ceremony and reception in the same area ?
Answer
Yes but not the same building, it’s only about 100 ft from each other, less than a 3 min walk. Terrain will be dirt, rocks, and leaves so please be cautious

Are you making a wedding registry?
Answer
We have decided on making a donation fund for our future home. Your welcome to check it out from our registry category through this website. There will be QR codes for those who use Venmo, there will also be an envelope slot box at the reception. We are thankful for any donation ❤️

What type of food and drinks will be available?
Answer
We are doing a taco catering service with meat, rice, beans and chips& salsa. For desserts there will be macarons. For our alcohol drinks we are doing two kegs: one of IPA beer and one of hard cider. Champagne for one toast Nonalcoholic drinks will be apple cider, juice and water

What are state the park rules under our contract?
Answer
Hard liquor is strictly forbidden under our contract of terms and agreements please don’t sneak any in as park rangers will be checking in on us during the ceremony & reception areas including parking lots! Don’t litter; please keep in mind this is a state park, we cannot harm the environment. There will be plenty of trash disposals available as well restrooms
