Melissa and Johnnie met online in 2015. Their first date was at Cafe Korea in Indianapolis. Melissa got Johnnie to try all the Korean foods (even the ones she doesn't eat). Although they had just met, they realized how their paths may have crossed many times. Melissa and Johnnie both went to IUPUI, had work study jobs through America Reads and tutored at Hawthorne Community Center. Their college apartments were also within 0.5 mile from each other. Over the years, they have gotten closer and their love for each other has grown. They look forward to a future of love, family and success.
