Why Vermont?

Answer

John grew up skiing at Jay Peak with his family. After we started dating and John introduced me to skiing, I quickly learned what a special place it was. We knew there would be no central location for our guests, and loved the idea of spending a weekend at our favorite place with our favorite people. We have made so many memories there together already, and we cannot wait to share this one with all of you.

What is the dress code?

Cocktail attire is recommended for the wedding ceremony and reception.

Are kids invited?

Answer

Unfortunately not. We love your kids, but we do not have the capacity to accommodate them at our reception venue. Thank you for understanding and don't hesitate to reach out if you have any questions.

What is the closest airport to the resort?

Answer

Burlington Intl Airport in Vermont is the closest (~1.5 hrs away). Montreal Intl Airport is the next closest (~ 2 hrs away). Boston and New York City are 4 and 6 hours away respectively.

Will there be transportation on wedding day?

Answer

There will be transportation across the resort to deliver guests to the cocktail hour and reception from anywhere on the resort. Shuttle services are also available regularly during your stay at Jay Peak by calling (802) 988-2611 - extension x7777 or just x7777 from a resort phone. Unfortunately we will not be providing transportation to the church which is approximately a 15 minute drive from the resort for the ceremony. We ask that guests carpool as able.

Where should we stay?

Answer

We recommend everyone stays on the resort since there will be shuttles available for guests here, but you can choose if you prefer to stay in one of the hotels/lodges or rent a townhome of condo. All will be easily accessible. Don't forget to use our discount code when you book (Group Reservation Number : 1109504). Please call the resort if you are having difficulty finding lodging.
