WARNING: The following events have been slightly exaggerated for dramatic effect. Melissa spent half her time in high school German racing to the top of the class. She spent the other half drooling at Jaron from across the room. Jaron was happily oblivious to this. Fast forward twelve years. Melissa remembers that she used to drool at Jaron. Shocked and beside herself with glee, she finds that he has not unfriended her on Facebook and is still eligible. She sends him a dweeby message. Jaron, still oblivious, receives it. Too polite to run away screaming, he accepts an invitation to join her for an evening of frivolity. Pleasantly surprised to find that Melissa is not a raving lunatic, but shares his passion for Galaxy Quest and Elvish culture, Jaron falls head over heels. To this day, they still refer to each other as "Eruedraith" and "Nieriel".
