Question

Whats the dress code?

Answer

Cocktail wedding attire is a slightly more elevated dress code than semi-formal attire but is less formal than formal wedding attire. Typically this would include cocktail dresses, dressy jumpers, suit and ties, heels, and dress shoes. While the wedding event will be held at a golf course with some portions of the event taking place in grassy areas, the majority of the event will take place on flat paved area. It's important to note that the entirety of the wedding event will be outside, so please dress accordingly. The reception will take place under a large outdoor tent. Can I bring a +1 with me?

Answer

Due to the size of our guest list, we are at capacity which means we are sadly unable to accommodate additional guests. We will only be able to accommodate those listed on your invitation envelope. If you have any questions, please reach out.

Can we bring our kids?

Answer

Although we love your sweet little ones, the wedding weekend is an adults only (21+ and up) evening. Since we have huge extended families, we’ve chosen to limit our guest list, and we hope you understand. Let us know if there is anything we can do to help you for making arrangements ahead of time and leaving the kids at home. It is our hope that you can use this weekend to have a relaxing vacation destination getaway in gorgeous Colorado!

Will transportation be provided?

Answer

Yes there will be a shuttle available from The Rally Hotel in Downtown Denver. Shuttle transportation will be provided from The Rally Hotel to the wedding at Arrowhead (~1 hour ride), and back at the end of the night. Shuttles are arriving promptly to The Rally Hotel at 4:30 PM. Plan to arrive early if traveling to The Rally by car given anticipated game day traffic from the Rockies baseball game that day. Please note that there are two shuttle options available, one being a regular charter bus, and the other being a party bus 😉 Two return shuttles back to The Rally from the wedding will depart from Arrowhead at 9:30 PM and 11:00 PM. While ample parking is available at the venue for those needing to drive, it is requested that shuttle transportation is taken if you are planning on drinking alcohol at the wedding.

Will the wedding be outside or inside?

Answer

The ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception will all be outside events. The reception will take place in a large tented covered area. Some portions of the event will be in flat grassy areas, but the majority of the event will be on a paved area. The restrooms are found inside of the golf clubhouse. The weather in June in the Denver area is usually gorgeous and sunny, with an occasional short rain sprinkle. Typically weather ranges from a low of 55 degrees to a high of 86 degrees in June. Please prepare accordingly.

Are the ceremony and reception location wheelchair accessible?

Answer

Yes, the wedding site involves relatively flat and paved areas.

Should I bring a gift to the reception?

Answer

First and foremost, thank you for being so thoughtful and generous! If you wish to give a gift, guests can order from our registry, and have the gift shipped to our house in Virginia. This would be preferred given the travel involved for us to get to Colorado from Virginia, and limited baggage options. A card box available at the wedding.
