We are so excited to celebrate with you!

Back in 2011 while attending band camp for Kenosha Blackwatch Marching Band, Melissa and Eric met for the first time in the breakfast line. They talked for a bit and said they would met up for the ice cream social later that night. They went throughout the day thinking about their morning conversation while marching through Carol College streets. Melissa told all the colorguard girls about Eric, Eric told the clarinet section about Melissa. Later that night Eric went looking for Melissa, he saw her sitting next to the colorguard girls inside. Eric came up to the table and shared a chair with her while the group chatted. A few minutes later, Eric gasp and says, "Look a shooting start" and stretches his arm around Melissa. Caught off guard (because they were INSIDE) Melissa starts to laugh. From that moment, Melissa knew Eric's humor fit her's perfectly. The rest is history....

We set sail for Bermuda June second, 2019 and on the first night at sea, after a long day of flights and New York traffic and standing in line to get on a boat, we were ready to unwind. It was that evening, with the sun setting on the water (presumably, as the cloudy weather was not exactly cooperative with plans) that we got engaged. Melissa's initial reaction, upon seeing the ring, was "wait, is this for real?" followed by a resounding "YES!" we spent the next week partying on cruise ship, burying our toes in the pink sand of Bermuda, exploring caves, enjoying local cuisine, and celebrating our new engagement. The plan was to be married the following Summer, but a small virus had a different plan, and so our engagement was prolonged so that we could ensure that we would be able to celebrate our marriage with all of you!

June 2011- We met at Band camp for the Kenosha Marching Band September 2012- Melissa leaves for school at UW-Whitewater September 2014- Eric Leaves for school at UW-Madison December 2016- Melissa Graduates UW-Whitewater with a BS in Chemistry May 2017- Melissa moves to Madison September 2017- Mad Max joins the family!! May 2018- Eric Graduates UW-Madison with a BS in Biochemistry June 2019- Melissa and Eric get engaged!! September 2019- Eric starts Pharmacy school at UW-Madison December 2019- Gibbs joins the family!! September 2020- Melissa starts school at UW-Madison May 2022- Melissa Graduates UW-Madison with a MS in Biotechnology June 2022- THE WEDDING May 2023- Eric Graduates UW-Madison with his Doctorate in Pharmacy
