Eric and I both worked for the same company, so we had seen each other at company events, but never really met one another. I ended up getting a promotion working at the property across the street from his property, but both of these properties were managed as one, so we both worked under my boss prior to the promotion, Leticia. The first time I actually met Eric, was when Leticia was trying to introduce him to a mutual friend. I thought he was so handsome and developed an instant crush. After that, I would try to make it a point to sit next to him at meetings, or be around the apartments he was working in. He is pretty shy so he never really said much to me. That was until our whole staff went out for drinks a few months later. We had a big staff, so there were a few conversations going on. I was talking to people on one side of the table and Eric was talking to people on the other side, when I heard him shout, 'You win!'. I looked at him, and he said it again, 'You win!'. Naturally I replied, 'What did I win?'. He began telling me, that I was the most beautiful girl that worked in the company, hands down. He told me that he had his eyes on me from the first time he saw me at a company event we had 2 years prior. I was instantly floating! Here is this man that I have a crush on, and trying to subtlety get close to, and come to find out, he has had a crush on me this entire time. After getting to know each other, it was as if we had always known each other. We were in sync with one another, and everything else just moved along naturally.
