What about the Corona?
Answer
The 'Rona can seriously just go away! We hope that the world will be (for the most part) back to normal by August, but it is a good idea to make sure everything you book is refundable/changeable, booked with a credit card and/or that you have travel insurance to cover for Covid-related issues :-)
Question
I want to hang with you guys longer - can I?
Answer
We are now staying a third night at Altamount Manor so we can have more fun times (although, it will probably be more like hangover times) - please let us know if you are interested in this (noting that Monday, 30 August is an England bank holiday :-) ). The final cost per person for the extra night obviously depends on numbers. Currently, for example, it is £47pp.

Please, no - it is obviously amazing enough that you are coming to Scotland to celebrate with us :-) If you push us for an answer, we would happily accept a card with some lovely words to read the next day - thank you kindly in advance if you decide to, it is much appreciated!

What is the food and drink situation?
Answer
At the Wedding Celebration there will be a a barbecue provided and a bar (cashless) to meet your drinking needs ;-) Other than that, we have exclusive use of Altamount Manor which includes a large kitchen so please feel free to bring food (and drinks)! Otherwise, the town centre is a 10 minute walk which has restaurants and pubs (and a large Tesco if you want to stock up nearby). PS We will look into food options for the Friday evening.

Can I take photographs at the festivities?
Answer
So that everyone can have the full experience of our Ceremony/Wedding Celebration, we ask you to please put your phones/cameras away for all formalities including speeches and our first dance. Otherwise, we encourage as many photos/videos as you like! Make sure you follow and use our hashtag: #melganparty on Instagram for all photos of the weekend :-) A couple of housekeeping points: - We kindly ask that guests steer clear of our hired photographer; and - Pretty please no posting photos/videos of the bride and groom (from the Ceremony/Wedding Celebration) on social media :-)

The manor was built in 1795. Looks a bit Harry Potter/Hogwarts Castle style - why Mel wanted it 8-) Don't you think?
