We're Getting Married!

We were introduced through our married friends. Teresa my co-worker was intent on matching me up with a guy she knew of at the police department her husband worked for. However, Rob intervened and said Durral would be the better option. For a few weeks she kept asking me if she could give Durral my number, so I relented. He messaged me right away and we set up a date to meet at a local restaurant. We haven't looked back since!

We were pretty exclusive after our first date, but Nov. 9th 2017 we went "public" with our relationship.

Durral took me to Chicago for my birthday, and after visiting the Field Museum we were on our way to the Shedd Aquarium when we saw a Sail boat in the distance. I was trying to take a picture of it and when I turned around Durral proposed! We had his older brother with us, who missed the whole thing, so he had Durral do it again for pictures of course. My favorite line that day was my new fiance going. "Oh my knee!" love him!
