Celebrate our marriage with us!

We will be getting married in a private ceremony at San Francisco City Hall on Wednesday, October 5, 2022. We are looking forward to celebrating with everyone at our dinner reception on Friday, October 7, 2022.

Daniel grew up in Pasadena, CA where his childhood was filled with many outdoor adventures. He has a love for hiking in the mountains and enjoys any water activity. He moved up to the Bay Area to attend U.C. Berkeley to study Political Science. After dabbling in a 9 to 5 in the insurance industry, he decided to pursue a career in real estate. Shortly after that, he moved to Hercules, CA where he met Melissa. Melissa was born and raised in the Bay Area. Most of her childhood was filled with reading, playing with barbies, and traveling to India during summer break. She loves to start the day with a good cup of coffee and she is a huge foodie! She attended San Francisco State where she majored in psychology. Eventually she pursued a career in Human Resources where she specializes in Benefit Administration. We casually met for the first time in the condo complex where we mutually lived in Hercules, CA. Daniel lived in unit 50 and Melissa lived in unit 51. We know most of you would assume that meant we were next door to each other but no! The developer decided to arbitrarily number units so we were actually in different buildings. We would occasionally run into each other in the parking lot. Daniel would wave and try to get Melissa's attention. Melissa, being an introvert, would quickly say hi and rush inside. Eventually we started to run into each other at the gym and started talking about living in our HOA community and all the wackiness that takes place. One day Daniel asked Melissa out for a cup of coffee and the rest is history! Things just clicked for us and we knew early on that we were meant to be. We are both analytical, love to research things, love to eat, and enjoy traveling. Since our first date, we have eaten at many amazing restaurants, traveled to some pretty cool spots, and even adopted a dog named Maple! We've made many memories with so many friends and family members throughout our relationship. We are very excited to kick off this new chapter with you and look forward to dancing the night away!

We decided to take a quick trip down to Monterey, CA for a much needed break. Monterey is the first place we traveled to as a couple so it holds a special place in our hearts. We arrived in Monterey in the afternoon and checked into our hotel. We decided to take a walk down Cannery Row and check out some of the local shops. Dinner time rolled around and every restaurant had an hour long wait. Melissa was getting hangry at this point so we picked up some Cioppino at Louie Linguini's and headed back to the hotel. Once we got back to our hotel, we decided to eat out on the balcony which overlooked the bay. We had a full moon that night so the sky was incredibly bright. Little did Melissa know, Daniel was about to get down on one knee and ask her to be his wife. Of course Melissa said yes and now here we are!
