We Eloped

Cory and Melissa met how most people do these days, a dating app, Hinge to be specific. Melissa thought he looked like a fun goofy guy, so she made the first move and chatted him up. Conversation and giggles came easily between the two, and after a quick raincheck, they decided to meet IRL. Without even knowing, Cory chose Melissa's favorite taco spot for their first date in October of 2022. After eight months of dating, teaching Melissa how to snowboard, taking her on her first camping trip, and trying to keep up with Cory on a bike they decided to take things to the next level and moved in to their South Denver house together (since Cory was always there anyway). Over Christmas in 2023 Melissa had asked Cory what his goals were for the next year, to which he cheekily responded "to marry you." The next year turned out to be a challenging one, with freak auto accidents, vacations gone very wrong, and gut wrenching loss. Each obstacle brought the two closer together and in May of this year, they started to plan their dream wedding - a getaway of just the two of them in beautiful Montana.
