What is the dress code for the weekend?

Answer

All events leading up to the wedding are dressy casual. The wedding ceremony and reception is summer formal. The ceremony will take place outdoors, so we recommend light fabrics and comfortable shoes suitable for grass. The reception will be inside. Layers are also encouraged for the evening.

Where should I stay?

Answer

We have reserved a room block at a nearby hotel for your convenience . In addition, the area has an abundance of Airbnbs, Vrbos, Hotels, and Bed & Breakfasts. Please visit our Travel page for details and booking information.

What should I do in the area?

Answer

The Finger Lakes region offers beautiful wineries, scenic views, and outdoor activities. Visit our Things to Do tab for a list of recommendations, including wineries, local must sees, and nearby destinations.

Are the Thursday and Friday events mandatory?

Answer

All weekend activities are optional. Guests are welcome to join any events that fit their schedule.

Are the optional events hosted?

Answer

The Thursday winery tour and Friday harbor cruise are optional activities that guests may book and pay for individually. We will also be gathering at Grist Iron for a casual welcome gathering. Guests are encouraged to stop by, mingle, and enjoy food and drinks available for purchase.

Do I need to RSVP for the winery tour or harbor cruise?

Answer

Yes! If you would like to participate in any optional activities, please RSVP through the website or text Melissa as soon as possible.

Are kids allowed?

Answer

Yes! We love kids. If you would like to use the weekend as an excuse to leave them at home though, we understand ;)

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

We are only able to accommodate those guests and family members formally listed on your invitation. Thank you for understanding!

What time should I arrive to the wedding?

Answer

Please plan to arrive 15–20 minutes before the ceremony begins to allow time for parking and seating.

Is transportation provided?

Answer

Transportation will not be provided. We recommend arranging a rideshare or carpooling, as parking will be available at the venue.

Will dinner be served at the wedding?

Answer

Yes! Dinner and drinks will be provided during the reception.

Do you have a registry?

Answer

Your presence is the greatest gift! However, if you wish to honor us with a gift, a registry can be found on the Registry tab.
