Bride
Christine fell in love with Melissa from the moment she first laid eyes on her, which happened to be at her parents house while doing laundry. While Melissa thought Christine didn't like her because she was quiet, it was really because Christine was sweating through her shirt with anxiety over the beautiful girl in her home. She still thinks back to that day and remembers how happy she was that she delayed doing laundry for two weeks. She walked out of the door that night with a basket of clean clothes and a happy heart.
Bride
Christine invited Melissa to go to a coffee shop in Quincy called Coffee Break on a whim one day, and Melissa agreed. They talked and drank two lattes each before they decided to go home. Melissa knew she wanted to see Christine again before the door even closed behind her. After that day, it was clear that there was no one more kind, loving, genuine, beautiful or thoughtful than Christine.
Maid of Honor
Melissa and Hillary met in the second grade as mortal enemies, but in third grade, they decided it would be easier to be best friends instead. They've since managed to become one person who exists in two bodies.
Maid of Honor
As with pretty much all siblings, Christine and Melissa didn't officially like each other until adulthood, when Melissa included Christine in fitness classes and Christine would go to Melissa's house to watch reality TV (which she secretly loves). Both are now willing to go on record with kind words about the other.
Bridesmaid
Christine and Ellen met at work when Ellen decided they would be best friends. Ellen invited an unsuspecting Christine to a concert where she planted the seeds of friendship. Ellen is now the Winston to Christine's CeCe. The Leslie Knope to Christine's Ann Perkins.
Bridesman
Fate brought Christine and Jacob together in high school when they were enrolled in the culinary arts program. A magnetic force continued to bring them together in group settings where they were happily introverted together, sometimes to the point where they drift away from the crowd to eat baked ziti in the dark.
Bridesmaid
As Christine's sister, Kathleen met her when she was born. Later, Kathleen met Melissa at work where they became immediate friends. Their closeness became so apparent that the cashiers at Breuggers Bagels assumed they were a couple, and were never corrected.
Bridesmaid
Melissa met Lindsey when Lindsey was born, and thus began the world's greatest rivalry. As adults, however, Melissa and Lindsey have established an alliance and someone could even confuse them for being close.
Bridesmaid
Melissa met Michelle playing basketball in second grade, but they didn't become friends until junior high when they both spent way too much time at their friend Serina's house terrorizing her family for approximately 6 years (sorry Kim and Dave).
Bridesman
One time Melissa's brother AJ brought his baby over and Melissa became so obsessed with the baby that said baby is now forced against their will to be in her wedding party.
Bridesmaid
Christina and Melissa met in high school when both were enrolled in the same drafting program and shared a circle of friends. They became inseparable when they realized they were the main characters, and eventually decided to live together to maximize both of their on-screen time.
Bridesmaid
Christine and Andria have been inseparable since preschool. Andria is the yin to Christine's yang. Christine's second home and family are Andria's. As they are a bonded pair, both must be adopted together.
Bridesman
Christine met Brian in high school through their friend Andria. They became closest in senior year and college while driving aimlessly in Brian's jeep, where they blasted music and Brian would blow Christine's mind with his Mariah-Carey-like vocals.
Bridesmaid
Christine met Shea in middle school while confronting her over some preteen tensions. However, they were luckily able to smooth things over when they joined the same Culinary Arts program in high school. From there, they'd spend time driving in any direction on a highway, exiting randomly to indulge in the local cuisine.
Officiant
Many thanks to Peggy for officiating our wedding with such care and creativity.
