International Rose Test Garden

Great interactive science museum. Has everything from feathered dinosaurs to a real submarine!

OMSI

A 1.5-hour drive South of Portland. Home of the famous Trail of Ten Falls hike a 7.2 mile loop with 10 waterfalls! Parking fills up in the summer so get there early.

Silver Falls State Park

Oregon's tallest waterfall, only a half hour from Portland! Also check out nearby hiking trails and beautiful lookout points along the Columbia Gorge.
