Melissa got to see Brian's guitar stylings (and all that jazz) for the first time at a production of "Chicago" at LA's Pantages Theatre

The first solo date was at the iconic Hollywood establishment Musso & Frank, where Brian reserved the Writers Booth to impress his new wordsmith love interest

The next date showed Melissa that the impeccably put together Mr. LaFontaine also loves to let loose. As the tiki drinks flowed, the enchantment with one another grew

The relationship bloomed with the first at home date, where Brian served a homemade carbonara. We'd eat our weight in pasta in Italy a few months later. And that trip would kick off several more...

A trip to Melissa's home town on Lake Winnepesaukee. Brian's first time in New Hampshire, one of only 7 states he had yet to visit.
