Do I need a passport?

What airport do I fly into and transportation to the villa?

Answer

We recommend flying into Gregorio Luperón International airport also known as POP or Puerta Plata. Santo Domingo airport is also an option. We can arrange transportation to your villa or hotel that is nearby. The cost will be around $100 for 6 people there and back. (Please contact me if you have any questions or are interested in transportation) If you would like a rental car - please let me know so I can get a count of how many cars will be on the property.

How many days is the wedding villa rented for?

Answer

The villa is rented from April 16th at 3pm to April 19th at 1pm. Even if you are staying nearby, please come join us at the wedding villa all day everyday!

Where do we get food?

Answer

The wedding villa offers breakfast, lunch, afternoon snacks, dinner, and drinks made for you for just $85 a day. Note that we will be checking in at 3pm on Thursday and the rehearsal and wedding dinners will be covered, so it will be less than $85 per day. Please let me know if you are interested in this in advance as it needs to be paid a month before the wedding. (Please let me know any dietary restrictions/allergies). If you are not interested in the meal plan, feel free to get groceries/bring your own food.

Is the Wedding Indoors or outdoors?

The Dominican is absolutely beautiful in April and the wedding will be outdoors under the gazebo. April welcomes pleasant and consistent weather in Cabrera with average daily temperatures from 70 to 80 degrees during the day, with cooler evenings.

Is there a rehearsal dinner and what can i wear?

Answer

There will be a rehearsal dinner on Friday April 17th. Ladies: Breezy sundresses, flowy skirts, or stylish jumpsuits. Wedges or flat sandals are perfect! Gents: Linen shirts, polos, or short-sleeve button-downs with chinos or tailored shorts. Boat shoes or sandals work great. Skip: Swimsuits, gym clothes, or anything too formal — keep it casual and coastal!

What to wear at the wedding?

Attire: Garden Formal / Spring Cocktail Our ceremony will take place outdoors near the beach beneath a beautiful gazebo. Please join us in garden formal attire appropriate for a spring celebration by the water. Suggested attire: Cocktail dresses, midi or maxi dresses in soft spring tones. Dress slacks or suits in light, breathable fabrics (ties optional) Wedges, heels, or dressy flats (we’ll be on grass and stone pathways) Think timeless and elegant, with a soft, coastal spring feel.

Can I wear white to the wedding? "Destination" wedding means I can wear shorts right?
