Child Free Wedding?

Answer

Although we adore your children, due to space constraints we ask that only adults attend. The only children who will be in attendance are the nieces and nephews of the bride and groom. Thank you for your understanding.

Parking and Transportation

Answer

There is paid parking at the aquarium. Please check back for updates. If you are staying overnight in Duluth, we highly recommend using a rideshare program or cab to travel to and from your place of lodging. Please be aware the city of Duluth has various parking rules in place if you utilize any street parking during your time in the city. The website below provides more information and is used by Duluth to pay for street parking. https://www.parkduluth.com All locations in Canal Park are only a short walk to the aquarium. Downtown Duluth is also a walkable distance to locations in Canal Park and the aquarium.

Inclement Weather

Answer

The ceremony is planned for the outdoor space at the aquarium. A tent will be set up and the ceremony will continue outdoors if there is light rain. In the event there is heavy rain or thunder and lighting the wedding ceremony will be postponed until 6:00pm and held in the lobby of the aquarium. Happy hour will be moved to before the wedding and dinner will be hosted immediately after the ceremony.

Special Diet

Answer

There will be a special meal option in addition to the Italian Buffet being served. We have worked with our caterer to put together a gluten free/dairy free/vegan option for those who need a dietary accommodation. We also highly recommend that anyone with nut allergies select the alternate meal as the buffet has a dish containing walnuts. Please note in your RSVP if you would like the alternate meal option.

Dress Code

Answer

We have no official dress code. Please keep in mind the ceremony and happy hour will be outside. Duluth is beautiful in June, but it can be windy by the lake. Even on warm days, you might need a sweater or light coat in the evening near the lake.
