Maid of Honor
Monica is my little sister and is the greatest gift I’ve ever received! Monica is the most kind, loving, and protective sister! Shes always stood up for me as if she was the big sister and would do anything for me. Some of my favorite memories with Monica consisted of movie marathons, helping each other get ready with hair and makeup, and always having a sister as a teammate on the softball field. We don’t get to see each other as often as we would like, but to have Monica as my Maid of Honor in helping me with our wedding makes her feel closer. I can’t wait to drive her crazy with all the wedding activities.
Bridesmaid
I met Jenna freshman year on the softball field! Even though she was a pitcher and I was an outfielder, it felt like we would always bat for one another to do well on and off the field. The following year we were roomies as well as later on in life when I initially moved out to the greater Sacramento area! Jenna is a wild and passionate friend and I always have a great time with her! Can’t wait to celebrate with her on our big day!
Bridesmaid
I met Asia on my first day of college and we were neighbors! We clicked right away and the following year we made sure to be roomies! Asia and I would stay up late in the dorms studying for our Bio class. She relentlessly helped me succeed and will always be a role model in my life. Since college we have been great friends and continue to find any excuse to get dinner, drinks, go out, and have fun! I’m soo happy to have this fun and thoughtful friend in my life and especially on my wedding day!
Bridesmaid
After being very close to Gabriela’s sister Nereyda, she introduced us and we instantly had a silly connection! You can always catch us wrestling and having too many drinks! That girl knows how to drink! Gaby always knows how to have a good time and is so easy to talk to and share moments in life with. I was happy to meet Gaby because after leaving SoCal to NorCal, Gaby reminded me of my sister Monica! Gaby will most likely hand me the most drinks on our wedding day!
Bridesmaid
I met Nereyda on the first day of college and she was the best roommate anyone could ever ask for. We became best friends straight out of the gates! When I moved up to NorCal she did everything she could to make sure I wasn’t home sick and treated me as if I was part of her family. If it wasn’t for Nereyda I might have returned to SoCal. We both love to go wine tasting and eat at our favorite dinner spot Límon. Now, I can't imagine my special day without her standing by my side just like she did on the first day of school all those years ago.
Bridesmaid
I met Monica on my first day of college and I initially thought she was a very shy and quiet person! After playing softball with her and getting to know her better, she is definitely the complete opposite: a wild child that can make anyone pee their pants laughing! There is never a dull moment with Monica and I can’t wait to see her do a somersault on the dance floor!
Bridesmaid
Brandie is my auntie but always felt like a bigger sister to me ! Brandie taught me how to be a strong woman and not take anyone’s crap! Brandie has always been a cool aunt and always took care of me whether it was helping me get my ID to get into clubs, teaching me how to drive a car, always being there for me during just about every big moment in my life. I can’t wait for her to be by my side when I marry my best friend!
Bridesmaid
I didn’t meet Paige until I met Bobby. Bobby is best friends with her husband Dylan and we all met for the first time with a double date at mini golf! Not only were the Serrano’s getting to know me, but instantly learned that I beat Bobby at everything! Paige helped Bob and I move into our first place, move into our second place, and every other place after that! No matter what Paige is always there to help Bob and I out! She has the kindest heart and I feel like we have the type of bond where we literally tell each other anything and everything. I can’t wait to share another important milestone with her by my side!
Flower Girl
Samantha is my little cousin and I could not imagine our wedding without her being our flower girl! I still remember the day she came into this world and gave us all heart eyes because she is the cutest little thing! Sam has the longest eyelashes and before she could even speak, we would always tell her “ Ojos! Ojos!” and she would bat her eyelashes. Now she is all grown up she’s still beautiful than ever!
Ring Bearer
Jonathan is my little but big cousin! Those who knew Jon as a child would say he is very smart, funny, and annoying! He took every opportunity to annoy me when he was little! So now that he is all grown up I take every opportunity to annoy him! Another quality about Jon is that he loved to dance, especially the worm! On our wedding day I hope he dusts off his moves and goes crazy on the dance floor!
Officiant
I met Dylan in 2011 when playing for the Cal Berkeley Men’s Soccer team and ever since then he has been one of my best (looking) friends in my life. It was pretty clear that we’d be close friends for a long time seeing as we had a similar sense of humor and interests. Dylan has known Melissa and I for the entirety of the almost 8 years that we have been together so it only made sense that he would be our officiant!
Best Man
William Joseph (aka Wiiiiiiiiillllllll) is my brotha from anotha motha. We have known each other since I was 7 years old playing competitive soccer for the Irvine Strikers. Will, with his crazy funny antics, and I got along with each other straight from the get-go. Besides all the fun times we’ve had, the most notable part about Will was his ability to always be there for me during the good and the bad. Trust this brother with my life and can’t wait for him to be part of my Best Men.
Best Man
I have known Corey (aka CoreyCar, Puff Daddy, Puff Padre, Puff Diamond, Doctor D) pretty much my entire life. Corey has been like a brother to me ever since he occasionally (every day) spotted me LT pizza money for school lunch in place of my triple decker Nutella sandwich. He has been my partner in crime on the soccer field and in just about every stage of my life. So easy to get along with and had my back since day one. P.S. one day I’ll pay you back for the pizza!
Groomsman
Charley (Chuck) is my oldest brother and was a great brother to both myself and my middle brother Pete. He (sometimes) set the example and not only showed us what to do but also what not to do which was equally if not more important! Charley was definitely the social one of the house and funny as hell.
Groomsman
Pete (Pizza King) is the middle brother and definitely the brains of the family. He was always the artistic and musically talented brother in the house. Pete has always been there for me when I needed him with his levelheadedness and emotional intelligence.
Groomsman
Daniel (aka Dmikes, Danimal, Danielsan, Danny Boy, Dan, 2 first names) and I met in high school and it was instantly clear that he was the cool popular guy of the group! You couldn’t find a single bad thing to say about the man and it seemed like he was friends with everyone. Dan has always stayed true to who he is and been one of the best friends I could ever ask for.
Groomsman
Calvin (Cal Daddy, Calv, Cal Vino,) and I have known each other since middle school! Calvin and I immediately hit it off and often times too well that we would get each other kicked out of class without saying a single word to each other. He was always the kind of guy that would give you the shirt off his back…..as well as any answers you didn’t know on the monthly math test! Calvin was and is the responsible one in the Krew often times displaying father like symptoms even before he had his cute baby. Cal Daddy also was the guy you never wanted to go up against whether it be the annual turkey bowl, basketball, soccer, really anything athletic because of his dominating athleticism. True beast mode!
Groomsman
JIMMY! (AKA YIIIIIIMMMYYYYY Jimbo, Jumbo, James Lawrence III, Jimothy, Jim, BDJ) and I have known each other since the middle school days. We became so close that we would often find ourselves at his house without him there for some of Mary’s famous homemade cookies. Jimmy’s door was always open and often times was the ‘hangout’ house after school since he lived right next door. BDJ truly has such a BIG heart and patient soul when dealing with the antics of the Krew especially when we’re all together!
