Question

What is Formal Attire for Men?

Answer

Spoiler alert: It's not the same as black tie. No Tuxedos required! Men can wear a tuxedo, but they don't have to—a dark suit and tie are also appropriate. Dress shoes fit the bill when it comes to footwear. Consider patent leather loafers for a tux or laced oxfords for a suit. A formal wedding is also the perfect time to break out the cufflinks. Question

What is Formal Attire for Women?

Answer

Formal wedding guest dresses include evening gowns and elegant cocktail dresses, so pick the hemline you feel best in. That said, you don't have to wear a dress. A jumpsuit is the perfect alternative to a dress and will provide ultimate comfort for a busy day of wedding festivities. Overall, pick an outfit you truly love and feel your best in while still respecting the couple's attire request. Colors to avoid for formal weddings, steer clear of white, ivory, cream, or champagne-colored dresses. You should also avoid pieces that may read as too casual, such as a cotton sundress. We have created an AirBNB board of available stays, we will keep this updated up to two weeks before the wedding. https://www.airbnb.com/slink/lLbNnowB We encourage you to book an AirBNB as early as possible, there is a home football game Saturday, November, 2nd, 2024 and hotels are very limited.

We will be having an unplugged ceremony meaning we fully expect everyone to put their phones away.
