Trillium Lake Viewpoint or Hike
One of the most iconic spots for Mt. Hood views! You can park right by the lake and simply relax, take in the stunning scenery, no hiking needed. Feeling more adventurous? Walk the easy, flat 2-mile loop trail around the lake for gorgeous views from every angle. Please note, a $10 day-use fee is required, or you can use a Northwest Forest Pass, which can be purchased at the site or in advance.
Cascade Streamwatch Trail
Just minutes from the venue. A super easy, 0.7-mile paved loop at Wildwood Recreation Site that’s perfect for all ages and abilities! Wander along the Salmon River through lush forest, stop at the unique underwater viewing window to spot fish, and enjoy peaceful views without breaking a sweat.
Scenic View Drive
Don't want to hike? Even just driving 20-30 minutes up toward Government Camp gives you some incredible views. Pull off at Mirror Lake Trailhead or Trillium Lake turnoff for a few photos and forest air.
Little Zigzag Falls Hike
An easy, 0.6-mile out-and-back trail perfect for all ages and abilities! Stroll along a shady, mossy path next to a bubbling creek and end at the beautiful Little Zigzag Falls. Just a short drive from the venue, this quick hike takes less than an hour and rewards you with a stunning waterfall!
Mirror Lake Loop Trail
A 4.4-mile forest hike to a stunning lake that mirrors Mt. Hood. Expect a gentle climb, dreamy views, and plenty of photo ops. Plan 2–3 hours for this classic Oregon adventure!
