Answer

Question

When and where is the wedding?

Answer

We’re tying the knot on Monday May 19, 2025 at 5:00PM at the stunning Hacienda Siesta Alegre in Río Grande, Puerto Rico. It’s a beautiful open-air venue surrounded by lush tropical views perfect for celebrating under the stars!

Question

Do I need a passport to travel to Puerto Rico?

Answer

Nope! If you’re a U.S. citizen, traveling to Puerto Rico is just like traveling to any other state no passport required. You’ll just need a valid government-issued ID, like a driver’s license, to board your flight.

Question

What will the weather be like?

Answer

May in Puerto Rico is warm and tropical, with temperatures typically in the 80s during the day and slightly cooler in the evening. Expect sunshine with a chance of occasional light showers, it’s all part of the island charm! Lightweight fabrics and sun protection (think sunscreen, hats, or sunglasses) are a must.

Question

What should I wear?

Answer

Our dress code is formal, but we encourage you to have fun with your look! Think vibrant colors, tropical prints, or textured fabrics to match the island vibes. For those wearing dresses or jumpsuits, we suggest midi or full-length styles, and for suit wearers, a full suit with a long-sleeve dress shirt is perfect. To keep things cohesive we kindly ask you to avoid shorts, short sleeve shirts, or mismatched jackets and pants. Lighter fabrics like linen are totally encouraged to keep cool in the warm May weather. As the ceremony will take place outdoors, don’t forget to plan for the sun! We recommend bringing sunscreen, a stylish hat, or sunglasses to stay comfortable and protected. For shoes, go for wedges or block heels if you’re wearing heels—some parts of the venue have uneven stone and grass. We can’t wait to see you all dressed to impress and ready to celebrate with us in paradise!

Question

Do I need to rent a car?

Answer

Renting a car isn’t necessary unless you’re planning to explore the island, like El Yunque rainforest or nearby beaches. Ubers are affordable and reliable in San Juan, and we’ll have a shuttle service to and from the venue to keep things simple.

Question

Will there be transportation to the venue?

Answer

Yes! We’ll provide shuttle service between the hotel and the venue, so you can relax and enjoy the festivities worry-free. More details on pick-up times will be shared closer to the wedding.

Question
