Airport Travel Information
We have several airports in Virginia, with a few that are more local than others. The three closest airports to the venue/hotels will be Richmond (RIC), Norfolk (ORF) and Newport News (PHF). There are two other airports in the Washington D.C. area too but much further travel would be required (can be roughly 3-4 hour drive time with traffic). **IF you'd prefer to fly into D.C. - please reach out to Mel for more details and tips to get to Williamsburg. RIC = 20 minutes to venue and 45 minutes to Williamsburg/hotels. PHF = 50 minutes to venue and 30 minutes to Williamsburg/hotels. ORF = 1.5 hours to venue and 1 hour to Williamsburg/hotels. Mel almost always flies into the Richmond airport and recommends that for guests. Norfolk and Newport News are a bit smaller of airports so they can be a tad more expensive. **Note for the Seattle/West Coast folks - There are not any direct flights into Richmond, Newport News or Norfolk airports, so please plan your travel schedule accordingly. Additionally, some forget the 3-hour time difference. Virginia is 3 hours ahead of the west coast, so you lose 3 hours of your day travelling across the country - keep that in mind as you plan :)

Transportation Options
Renting a car is recommended, if you want the flexibility of bumping around town and to transport you to/from the airport. Rideshare is another great option. It is roughly ~$50 from the Richmond airport to Williamsburg and travelling around town in Williamsburg is ~$10 per ride. We will be providing transportation to and from the wedding via a Richmond Limo 50-passenger bus. The bus will pick up the first 50 passengers at the Hilton Garden Inn at 2:45pm to drop off at the wedding venue at 3:30pm for the ceremony. The bus will pick up from the reception at 9pm to return to Hilton Garden Inn. If you wish to take the bus, please meet at Hilton Garden Inn prior to 2:45pm. Be advised, there are 50 seats available. You are welcome to drive yourself or find alternative transportation as well - up to you!
