In 2017, Alex and Melissa went on two separate vacations to Savannah, Georgia. Alex came up to Melissa at a bar and asked "What are you drinking, is it any good?" After they swapped numbers, the texting never stopped. Alex asked Melissa to come to Ohio a month later, with the perfect excuse of going to see an Ohio State Football Game. After 2 years of long distance, Melissa got Alex to move to Brooklyn. Alex moved in right before the good old COVID-19, and they were confined to their tiny apartment. However, they made it through and now they still live in Brooklyn with their furbaby Zuppa. Alex proposed to Melissa at her favorite British artist's concert, James Arthur. He had a note on his phone with her favorite song (since October 2020), and James Arthur came through in May 2024 to Central Park. Now, they will continue their journey as Mr. & Mrs and create new chapters together!
