Adam and Melissa met on a warm summer day in the most magical and romantic place - Costco. Adam worked there pushing carts in the parking lot and Melissa began working there as a seasonal employee. They got to know each other and as summer came to a close and Melissa was leaving to head back to school, they went on their first date to the Toronto Zoo. They kept in touch as the months went on exploring Toronto and bonding over coffee, food and sports.

Two days before Adam and Melissa were ready to leave for a trip to Iceland, they found out that their flight with WOW Airlines would not be happening. After some panic and stress, Adam and Melissa decided to book a trip to Oahu, Hawaii as it was a place they had wanted to visit for a long time. They spent their first day doing all the things they love - hiking, eating donuts, drinking coffee and enjoying each other's company by the beach. As they drove along the coast of Oahu with the ocean on one side and mountains on the other, Adam and Melissa stopped at the Halona Blow Hole and Beach Cove to take in the beautiful view where they ended the most perfect day with a proposal.
