Question

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS

Answer

If you are unvaccinated you need a negative covid test to travel and check in to the hotel. ALL guests are required to complete a travel declaration form to enter Puerto Rico https://www.travelsafe.pr.gov/ See https://www.discoverpuertorico.com/info/travel-guidelines for the most up to date information. Vaccinations are highly encouraged.

Question

Transportation?

Answer

The Wyndham hotel does not provide an airport shuttle to guests. To schedule transportation prior to your flight, send a text message to (787) 615 -7568 with the following information: Name, number passengers, airline name and time of arrival. You will receive confirmation with the rate and form of payment. (cash upon arrival or Pay Pal on a pre-paid basis) You also have the option to take a taxi or rent a car. We will provide transportation from the Wyndham to the wedding venue. There is parking available on site if you choose to drive however we highly encourage you not to! The road to the venue is skinny, dark and windy and GPS signal is not reliable. PLEASE DO NOT DRINK AND DRIVE.

Question

Can we take pictures during the wedding?

Answer

We ask that you put away your cameras, cell phones, iPads and other electronics until after the ceremony. This includes when people are walking down the aisle. We are touched that you want to document our special day, but please save it for the dance floor and be in this moment with us. We want to see your face, not your phone!

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

Semi-Formal: Suits, maxi dresses, and cocktail attire are welcome. Avoid white. No shorts. No jeans. The ceremony takes place outside on a lawn so avoid stiletto heels or you'll sink in!

Question

Where is the wedding?

Answer

Hacienda Siesta Alegre is a rustic Spanish Colonial Hacienda on a 120 acre farm. It is located on the eastern side of Puerto Rico (about 45 minutes from San Juan) at the foot of the El Yunque rainforest. You will be surrounded by ample green pastures, open terraces and magnificent views. It's truly breathtaking and we can't wait to share it with you!

Question

Is there Uber in Puerto Rico?

Answer

Uber is available in the San Juan area but it is very limited outside of that.

Question

Can we bring the kids?

Answer

As much as we love your kids, this event is adults only with the exception of children in the bridal party.

Question

Do I need a passport to travel to Puerto Rico?

Answer

If you are a United States citizen, you do NOT need a passport to go to Puerto Rico. Puerto Rico is part of the United States so all you need is the same identification you use to fly anywhere else in the country.

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

We want the most important day of our lives to be as intimate as possible. Therefore if you don't have a plus one specifically addressed on your invitation, we cannot accommodate one.

Question

What is the local currency?

Answer

US Dollar
