We're Getting Married!

We met through some mutual friends in college, and quickly grew fond of each other. A few weeks of movie nights and Eagle's Nest food runs, we found ourselves growing closer, officially becoming a couple! After years of walking one another to class, getting smoothies after working out, and weekend sushi dates, Brady decided to make it official and proposed on 12/25/2018 💕

Christmas morning at the Douglas house typically awaits the arrival of all the kids and their families. However, on this particular morning, Brady had different plans. He woke up at at the crack of dawn - significantly earlier than usual we might add - and shook Mel awake. He insisted they open gifts then, as he was too excited to wait on the others. Once Mel had finished opening her gifts, Brady began looking around under the tree saying "wait I think there's one more gift somewhere around here..." After a few moments, he pulled out a small box from the tree. "Ah, here it is!" As he got down on one knee, Mel began to tear up, and before Brady was able to finish his proposal, it was interrupted by a big "Yes!!" followed by the biggest bear hug and nonstop smiling for the rest of the day. It was definitely a Christmas to remember! We are so excited to celebrate this next chapter in our lives with you. See you in September! 🥂
