About Us

Hey! Thank you for visiting our website. We hope that through this, you will be able to find all the information you need- from gift registry information to wedding shower parade and wedding day details. We are so excited about beginning this new season of life together as husband and wife! God has done so much throughout our relationship and we are so undeserving of what He has blessed us with. We cannot thank God enough for His grace that is shown through Jesus. And we are also so thankful to those who have come alongside us throughout this season of engagement with love, truth, support, and guidance. As we enter into this new season we are expectant and hopeful for what the Lord will do for His glory and our joy.

How We Met

June 30, 2018

Our story began in the summer of 2018 while we were on a hike (that neither of us initially wanted to go on) with our college ministry. Blair and I knew of each other beforehand, but never really crossed paths until that day. I had just come back from a month-long missions trip in Germany and I was getting resettled in my hometown for the summer. Along with that, I was actually not interested in dating anyone as I felt as though I was at a really good spot in my life being single. On the other hand, Blair was in the process of preparing to head off on a week-long missions trip to Estonia. He too was at peace with being single during this time and was not intentionally looking to pursue anyone. However, God had other plans in mind for Blair and me. While we were on the hike, we actually didn't talk to each other at all. In fact, Blair noticed me and actually intentionally kept his distance from me as he was unsure of how he felt about his attraction for me. Later on, we all went to get ice cream after the hike and it was then when Blair finally approached me. I don't really remember all that we talked about other than the fact that we both realized our bond over our love for taco bell. It was through this that started it all. Well- ultimately God was the one who prompted our initial interactions with each other. All in all, getting to know each other since then has been such a beautiful and sanctifying process. Learning each other has been such a gift that we are so undeserving of. We are so thankful to God that He has brought us together and led us to this point!

The Proposal

February 2, 2019

It was the weekend before his birthday and I planned on visiting home to spend it with him. Blair offered to pick me up from LA, so he drove all the way down on Friday morning and we headed back home that same evening. Blair said he wanted to surprise me, so he kept his weekend plans a secret. The next morning, we woke up early to head out to San Francisco for the day. We were both so sleepy after waking up early after a long evening of driving- but we made the morning drive fun by playing some throwback Boyz II Men songs. We finally arrived at the Golden Gate Bridge. This place was special to us as it was there where we both started to actually like each other. As we walked towards Battery Spencer lookout, there was no one else in sight as it was still so early. Blair, being the godly man that he is, brought out his Bible and began reading through Isaiah 43 verses 1-4. After this, he expressed the faithfulness of God as our Father and explained that everything he does is for God as a response to His Fatherly faithfulness. He then began to express heart for me and future marriage. Then suddenly he bent down on one knee and asked the question we had both been so excited for! Although this day didn't essentially come as a surprise, I was in complete shock that the actual man of my dreams was proposing! I said yes without a doubt and suddenly found myself kneeling down with him as all I could do was hug and kiss him out of excitement! After this, we spent the day in San Francisco and ended it off with some dessert in Berkely. This easily became one of the most favorite days of our lives. We are so thankful for God's grace in allowing us to pursue this relationship. Please continue praying for us as we begin our new season of being married. Thank you so much for supporting us!

COVID19 Effects

Due to these unprecedented times, we are unable to have the wedding of our dreams. After praying over and discussing our options, we decided to proceed with planning for a small and intimate wedding in 45 days! Because of the inability of not being able to book a venue and wanting to maintain social distancing regulations, we are only inviting our immediate families and wedding party to our intimate gathering. With this, as a way to still celebrate with the ones we love, we decided to host a drive-by wedding shower just three weeks before our ceremony! We were initially struck with much devastation and confusion about all of this, but we are so thankful that we trust in a God who is sovereign over these times and ultimately works everything out for His glory and our joy. Please continue to pray for us as we aim to maintain our focus on serving Him and loving each other and others in the best possible way throughout these crazy times!
