We were on vacation in Bosnia for the first time together. After climbing 1,000 feet up the side of a mountain in some rigorous hiking conditions we made it to the summit of Fortress Omiš. As the sun was setting we ascended to the top of the lookout in the castle. We were enjoying some wine while the winds were dancing around us, knocking us about as it blew. As the last group of people were filtering down the ladder Nijaz got down on his knee, pulled out a little black box from his pocket and made me feel like the most special person in the world. 💖
