If it’s not Facebook official it doesn’t count! We met on the Facebook dating app and both swiped right. He only had two pictures on his profile - neither of which showed his face, but one picture had Dash in it so it helped his cause on a swipe right. She didn’t show teeth in any of her pictures so he was worried about her having bad teeth! After a *minor* delay in texting to set up a date, we finally had our first date at Condado and spent three hours talking and laughing. We’ve been inseparable ever since!

We took a trip to San Francisco to visit Melisa’s family on her dad’s side. While we were there, we celebrated Robin and Mel’s 39th wedding anniversary at Moonraker restaurant in Pacifica, which happened to also be the anniversary of our first date! After dinner we went out in front of the restaurant to watch the sunset and Derek did a magic trick and pulled out a rose 🌹 His next trick was the best one he’ll ever pull off when he pulled out a ring and proposed! ❤️💍
