A Day in Decatur

A Day in Decatur

Decatur, GA 30030

Only a short (in Atlanta terms) drive away from Midtown lies our lovely home of Decatur. If you've got a little extra time to kill throughout our wedding weekend, we'd highly recommend devoting a few hours to some favorite spots: Coffee: there's no better place for a morning jolt than Opo Coffee. We recommend sipping your java in Opo's back patio. The Square: enjoy plenty of window shopping (and likely a Spring arts festival). Once you've worked up a sweat, grab some refreshments (you earned it!) at Brickstore Pub. Pop your head inside to take in the unique character of Decatur's favorite pub, then head out back to the beer garden to enjoy some shade and a cold, international brew. If you're really feeling hungry, check out No. 246 (the chicken parm is large enough to feed a small army), Leon's, or Kimball House (ultimate vibes, oysters, and cocktails). If you are looking for something more casual, we love to hit Coyote's Mexican Grill, Sushi Avenue, or Chai Pani.
