We’re getting married!

We were both skeptical about eHarmony but we wanted to see what it was all about. Just three days after I opened an account, Eli sends me a smile. After that, conversations flowed smoothly and so naturally. Just three days of texting and a casual phone call, we knew we had to meet. Our first date was amazing, it was like we’d known each other forever, everything was so easy. It went so well that we had to see each other sooner rather than later so Eli invited me out the next night to bowl with his family. It was that night we became “official”, just 4 short days after he sent me the first “smile” on eHarmony. Ever since then we have been inseparable. On Friday, June 7th, Eli proposed at the spot where our first date was. That’s right, just 3 months from that first smile. I have never been more sure of anything in my life! I know he is the one for me. He is the man that is supposed to be the father figure for my boys and my husband/best friend for life. For both of us, many prayers have been answered by finding each other. We both have that other half of us we have been missing. We both fill a void in our hearts with the love we share for each other. I know he has my back just like I have his. Most importantly, we are finally happy. God definitely had a hand in this one. Since day one, Mel has had all my attention and most importantly my heart. We both agree that with the bad past relationships we've both had, we'd definitely would go back and do it all over again just so that we can find each other again and again. I thank God everyday for bringing Melinda into mine and my kids lives and I look forward to this wonderful new chapter of ours and also look forward to an amazing future together.
