The ceremony and reception are both taking place in Melina's parents' backyard (a.k.a., Port Tino) in Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan. They live on the St. Marys River, the waterway connecting Lake Superior and Lake Huron.
We recommend arriving 15-20 minutes early to get parked, settled, and seated before the ceremony begins.
If you received a plus one, your guest's name is listed on your invitation and will appear under your name when you RSVP. Otherwise, we would love to keep our wedding as an intimate event with family and close friends. Thank you for understanding!
Yes! You may park on the left-hand side of Bermuda Avenue before Forrest Boulevard (before the road changes from pavement to gravel). You will have to walk part of the way. Follow the signs accordingly. If you are in need of a ride, there will be a golf cart utilized for any handicapped/disabled guests.
As much as we love your little ones, this will be an adults-only celebration. We hope you enjoy a fun night out!
We'd love to see our family and friends get dressed up for our big day. Dress code is formal attire. Ladies can wear floor-length, tea-length, or midi formal dresses. Gentlemen can wear a suit & tie. Please no jeans, hats, or the color white, champagne, or ivory (not including men's dress shirts). Dress to impress, and don't forget your dancing shoes!
Both will be outdoors and on grass, so plan footwear accordingly. The reception will take place under a tent.
Please respond via the website by July 12, 2026.
The ceremony will be open seating so sit wherever you please. For the reception, we will be carefully arranging tables so our guests are sat with those they know (or their plus one or partner).
The closest airport is the Chippewa County International Airport (CIU), located near Kinross, Michigan.
