Lofty Coffee Encinitas Roasting Works
Our favorite place in town! We love sitting at the roastery and enjoying a coffee and their delicious house made goods. You can’t go wrong with anything you order at Lofty, but our recs are the salted caramel latte, matcha donut, and almond croissant :)
Moonlight Beach
One of our favorite beach spots! Walking distance to many shops and restaurants along the 101 in Encinitas. This area of town is sentimental to us as a couple, including where we had our first date (Death by Tequila) to our many sunset beach picnics. Catch the sunset at the D street viewpoint lookout!
Annie's Canyon Trail
Perfect easy hiking trail with unique terrain and awesome photo ops, nestled in the beautiful neighborhood of Solana Beach with great views of the north county coast.
Torrey Pines State Natural Reserve
Come here for the views! A visit to Torrey Pines Beach Trail is a must while you are in town! Hiking is our happy place and we hope you can enjoy some of this magnificent scenery as well. This reserve is located on the cliffs above Torrey Pines State Beach with many hiking paths from easy to more advanced. It is home to our nation’s rarest pine tree which can only also be found off the coast of Santa Barbara. It also preserves one of the last great salt marshes and waterfowl refuges in Southern California. We recommend going in the morning during cooler temperatures, and bringing water with you to stay hydrated!
Carlsbad Village
Make sure to check out Carlsbad Village, where you can enjoy coffee shops, restaurants, and shopping along the beautiful Carlsbad Beach.
