July is a month that holds great significance for Melina and Joey. It all started on July 7th in 2014 when they met at their UCSB freshman orientation. Throughout their freshman year, they shared many special memories of Delta Gamma date parties, Sunday bike rides through Isla Vista, and brunch dates in the dining commons. The following year, Joey ended up transferring to USC, but nevertheless Melina and Joey kept in touch. On July 9th, 2016, Joey made it official and asked Melina to be his girlfriend. Through the years, they graduated college, started their careers, and built a sturdy foundation for their relationship. Once Joey popped the question to Melina, it only made sense that they continue their tradition and get married during a time that holds great significance. So save the date, Melina and Joey are officially getting married on July 8th, 2023, nine years after they originally met and seven years after they started dating.
