Mara is Melina's only full sister and the reason Melina is here today. If you look at Melina's life, so much of it comes from wanting to be just like her big sister. Mara is a Georgia Tech Material Science Engineer and works at Texas Instruments building electronic components none of us can hope to understand.

Melina and Carly grew up together. Cousins by blood, sisters by choice, all of Melina's childhood memories are with Carly. Melina has watched in awe as she grew from Polly Pockets to PA School, and she couldn't think of getting married without Carly by her side. Carly works as a PA specializing in Hand Surgery and lives in Santa Barbara, CA.

Ansley is the reason Melina is getting married to Jake. A true best friend for over a decade, she embodies love, grace, connectedness, and loyalty. When her soul was created, a piece was saved for Melina and vice versa. Ansley lives in Miami, FL and works as a Strategy Engineer for FanDuel. She was also one of the worldwide winners of America's Funniest Home Videos in 2011.

Anna is part of the fiber of Melina's life. Melina's go-to sounding board, nurturer, and confidant for over a decade - Anna is what home feels like. Melina met Anna in their 3rd year at Georgia Tech. She is, hands down, the best chef Melina has ever met (sorry Jake). Anna works as a Software Engineer in Atlanta, GA.

Polly and Melina have been friends since almost day 1 of Georgia Tech. Hands down, this is the first person Melina calls in an emergency, a breakup, or for a late-night Target run. She is the glue, the calm, the rock. The sense of safety in chaos. Polly is an ED Nurse Practitioner and lives in Atlanta, GA.

Sylvia and Melina were tied at the hip in our 4th and 5th years at Georgia Tech. Pro-skier, world traveler, scuba diver, pickleball extraordinaire, and Romanian goddess, Sylvia is probably the most well-rounded genius you'll ever meet. She works as a Software Engineer and lives in San Francisco, CA.
Reese Martin

The most successful blind-roommate setup in history. Talk to Reese for 5 minutes and you will understand why she instantly became Melina's lifelong friend. Reese gave Melina the courage and support to apply to grad school and move to New York. When Melina visited New York and reconnected with Jake, Reese said, "I think you'll marry him." We wouldn't be here without her. Reese lives in Indianapolis and works in Sales Logistics for a glass manufacturer.

Wondering how Melina survived a 1-year intensive MBA grad school program? Look no further than Elizabeth Davis. She is the most organized, intelligent, empathetic, and silly individual you could have the pleasure of meeting - and insane enough to get spontaneous matching tattoos with Melina. Elizabeth works at Google in NYC as a Financial Analyst.
Ciara Ward

In 2014, Melina met a baby-15-year-old Ciara when she went to visit her brother Kevin at Georgia Tech. Instant little sister, just add Ciara. She's the most fun, quirky, silly, tiny energizer bunny. She has been a constant source of light, fun, strength, and loyalty in every phase of growth, pain, and adventure since. Ciara is an Electrical Engineer who works on EVs in San Francisco, CA.
Addie Fair

Melina only met Addie in 2025, and it wasn't soon enough. Addie is brightness and joy bottled up in a refreshing soda pop. She is perceptive, empathetic, and steadfast - an irreplaceable friend. Addie lives in Seattle and is the only reason any of Alaska Airlines' flights are on time. Everyone say thank you Addie.
Kyle Green

Kyle is Jake's younger brother and only sibling. He is hardworking, determined, and disciplined. Jake and Kyle were mistaken as twins until Kyle grew a full beard at age 17. He is currently working towards being a commercial pilot at Delta.
Riley Auten

Riley and Jake met on the first day attending Georgia Tech - the same day Jake met Melina! They joined the same fraternity, both interned for Amazon, and then were roommates for three years in Seattle before Jake moved to New York. Riley was instrumental in introducing Jake to a career in software, and he has founded and worked in startups since 2019.

Karan and Jake grew up a short walk from each other, and met in kindergarten back in 2001. Through every stage of school and life, they've grown up together and been there for every milestone in between. Karan sets regional sales strategy for Cox Automotive and lives in Atlanta, GA.
Joe Maenza

Joe was one of Jake's pledge brothers at his fraternity when they attended Georgia Tech. They studied abroad together in France in 2016, where Joe met his now-wife Ansley. Joe and Ansley later reintroduced Jake and Melina in New York, and the rest is history! Joe is completing his fellowship to become a Cardiologist in Miami, FL.
Kevin Ha

Kevin and Jake met in 2016 when Kevin transferred to Georgia Tech and were roommates through the rest of their time in college. Over the years, they connected over concerts, road trips, and travel. Kevin is a Consultant for Avenade, and lives in Johns Creek, GA.
Austin Lloyd

Austin and Jake grew up a short walk from each other and met back in middle school. They hung out so often through high school that they named the friend group SYT - See You Tomorrow, and have stayed close ever since. Austin is a Sales Manager for Sunrun and lives in John's Creek, GA.

Adam and Jake grew up a short walk from each other and met back in middle school. As founding members of SYT, Adam and Jake hung out daily for years, and grew from boys to men together. Adam is a Sales Manager for Sunrun and lives in John's Creek, GA.
Brian Lee

Brian and Jake met in Seattle in 2017 when they both interned for Amazon. They were roommates through the Summer and then reconnected in 2022 in New York. Through many concerts and barbecues, they made New York home. Brian is a Staff Product Manager at Zocdoc in Brooklyn, NY.
Callum May

Callum and Jake met shortly after they both moved to Seattle in 2018. They survived covid together, escaped Seattle, and then reconnected when Callum moved to New York in 2022. Since then, they've traveled and gone to countless concerts - sometimes both at the same time. Callum is a Software Engineering Manager at Wing, and lives in New York, NY.
Blaise Suhr

Blaise and Jake met in Seattle when Jake was interning for Amazon in 2017. Ever the hype man, Blaise's energy is unmatched. Jake wouldn't have made it through Covid lockdowns without him - and may not have moved to New York without his encouragement. Blaise is a Product Designer at Intuit and lives in San Diego, CA.
