We're getting married!

Melina and Chris were destined to meet. They both worked at the same company, lived in West Hartford and frequented the same establishments. And most importantly, they had a shared love for travel. It was only a matter of time before they crossed paths... And so fate brought them together for their first date in October of 2016, at their favorite local restaurant, Barcelona. The conversation flowed easily as did the wine, to the point where the waitress kept returning to the table to ask if they want a bottle rather than glasses. After getting home, Chris immediately texted Melina with the words every girl wants to hear "That was really fun, we should do it again". Melina had also texted someone; one of her best friends, to let her know she had met her soulmate. The next day they tried to plan a time for their second date, realizing they would both be in Loudon, NH for separate events that coming weekend. The immediate reaction was to wait until they were back in West Hartford, which Melina was secretly disappointed with. Chris came to his senses a couple of days later and suggested they meet up in Loudon. Melina was planning to run a half marathon with friends which happened to start at the same track where Chris was racing his Miata with friends. So they rearranged a few things and got together. After that, they went on to many more adventures. 2 months in they drove to Savannah, GA - a trip that could be stressful for a new relationship, being a 14 hour car ride. But instead, they used the time to plan a trip to Germany - somewhere Chris had always wanted to go. In Germany, they planned their next trip to Malta for Melina's 30th. Fast forward to present day, they have now been to 12 countries in 2 and a half years. In those 2 and a half years, in the midst of the traveling, Melina and Chris moved in together, got the world's best dog Finn, and have now decided that its time to make their love official to the world and get married!
