We are so excited to bring out family and friends together in the beautiful city of Pittsburgh! We appreciate many of you coming in from out town and hope you can take some time to explore all the city has to offer.
Pittsburgh, famously known as “The City of Bridges,” boasts an impressive 446 bridges—more than any other city in the world, even more than Venice—thanks to its unique location at the confluence of three rivers: the Allegheny, Monongahela, and Ohio. Historically dubbed the “Steel City,” Pittsburgh was once the heart of America’s steel industry, shaping its iconic skyline and infrastructure. The city’s legacy is also deeply tied to industrialist Andrew Carnegie, whose philanthropy helped establish many cultural and educational institutions, including Carnegie Mellon University and the renowned Carnegie Museums, which remain cornerstones of Pittsburgh’s vibrant community today.
