We met at Freed-Hardeman University when I was a sophomore and Blake was a junior. Though we were in different circles, we quickly discovered how happy we made each other. Not long after we started dating, I spent a semester abroad, making us long-distance for about four months. We had one full year at Freed together before Blake graduated, leaving us long-distance for another year. Through all of the distance and hard times apart, our love grew even stronger. We got engaged in February of 2026, after two and a half years together. We cannot wait to start our journey as one in September!
