My mom and I have developed such a special relationship and bond over the years. She is, and has always been, my number one supporter. She taught me that “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me” which has been a guiding light for me throughout my life. As many of you know, I lost my dad to a tragic car accident when I was just four years old. On my wedding day, I am honored to have my mom walk me down the isle and give me away to the man of my dreams. Words can’t describe the love and admiration I have for my mom. You mean everything to me. I love you!!

Lauren and I have referred to one another as “wifey” since we very first met back in high school. Lauren and I met through one of our mutual friends and the rest was history. We were fast-friends to say the least. Since then we’ve made countless memories together in St. Louis, the Lake of the Ozarks, and Panama City! I was honored to be in her wedding as a bridesmaid a few years back and now she gets to be in mine! We have a truly magical wifey-ship! Thank you for being a part of my big day as my Maid of Honor!

Alex and I have been “bffs” since sophomore year of high school! I don’t think I would have made it through high school without her! Alex and I have been through just about anything and she has always been there for me! Even our doggos are best friends! Now we both get to plan our weddings at the same time! Rocki is one of the most wise, down to earth, caring women I’ve ever met. I met Rocki through my social work career as we helped end Veteran homelessness. Rocki has taught me so much about myself and has always been my biggest supporter and encourager. In fact, Rocki helped me to get my dream job inside the Veterans Health Administration in 2019. She continues to be there for me every step of the way with endless support! I am honored to have her as a Bridesmaid in my wedding!

Better known as “sisters”, Sammie and I met when we were 9 and 10, respectively, by accident at a condo at the Lake of the Ozarks. My Mom, as she always did, encouraged me to “play with the little girl over there” at the pool and that was all it took. Sammie and I became as close as sisters over the last 20 years, from dressing the same, pretending to strangers, and spending weeks on end together. You will always be the sister I never had and I am honored to have you in my wedding as my Bridesmaid.

Jane and I met as coworkers at BJC Behavioral Health. I don’t think either of us knew how much we needed one another and how close we would truly become. We quickly went from coworkers, to best friends, to roommates within a year. I believe our souls were connected in a previous life. Jane and her wonderful daughter, Althea, have changed my life and truly blessed me; I can’t imagine my life without them. I am so honored to have you as my Bridesmaid.

My very first friend in high school! The Thing One to my Thing Two!! Not only was Erica my first friend in high school, she was unknowingly a role model from whom I learned so much from. We share a special bond that has truly grown as we have. You are a light, someone I can always rely on, and a blessing to my life. The world is truly a better place with you in it. My mother is the hardest working woman I have ever known. She has sacrificed and gone above and beyond to give my sister and I the best life. I’m honored to have my father at my wedding. When Chelsea and I first fell for each other he welcomed my beautiful fiancé into our family with open arms. I am thankful for the advice and support he has given us to this day. My dad is someone I can count on when looking for advice in this world. Most of you will probably hear it multiple times before the end of our wedding, yes he did call it when he met Chelsea. So dad you were right, I am gonna marry that girl!

Jared has been a special type of friend that is rare and hard to find. Not many people are as hard working, dedicated, insightful and down right genuine as Jared. I respect and appreciate our friendship. I draw a lot of inspiration from Jared and his wife Emily and am so happy they can share this moment with Chelsea and I. It was an honor to be the best man at Jared’s wedding and I’m lucky enough to have him as a best man for our special day.

Matt and I have spent years apart but you would never know by our interactions. It’s hard to put our friendship into words, because Matt has been a brother to me since high school. We followed each other to Bridgeton Academy and then on to College together. I trust Matt with my life and to always be honest and real with me no matter what. It’s only fitting to have one of my best friends by my side giving us his blessing in this next chapter of my life.

Having Kenyon in my wedding was a no brainer. He has been like a brother to me since high school. Not many people know how Kenyon and I met, but it’s something that has been burned into my memory for life. New to Vermont and the realities of winter, I was waiting in the snow for a bus ride to school. Kenyon happened to be passing and without hesitation stopped to pick up a random kid from school. It is a testament to his character then and exactly who he is today- a selfless, honorable and dependable friend. I’m proud to see the man he’s become and honored to have him in my wedding.

Tony is my one of my brother’s, which many of you have heard excessively. Tony has been a bigger influence on my life than he realizes. Growing up, he and my older brother Trey were the coolest guys I had ever know. Years later nothing has changed; I will continue to brag about the man my brother has become. With an amazing career and beautiful family, I hope that Chelsea and I can follow suit. I’m so thankful that my brother could be a part of our wedding day.

Tom and I met through mutual friends, In all honesty our official friendship origin eludes the both of us. When I asked Tom about how and when we became friends we stared at each other with blank looks and couldn’t help but laugh. Tom has shared my sense of humor and love for sports since the day we met. Sunday’s and fantasy football wouldn’t be right without Tom and neither would my wedding. I’m beyond happy to have Tom celebrate this special day to share laughs and stories with the rest of our friends and family.

Althea and I met when she was just 2 years old! Her Mommy and I quickly became friends and although she was shy at first, we’re “besties” now! Althea loves unicorns, mermaids, LOL dolls, coloring, painting, camping, swimming, learning, and her friends. Althea is a strong little girl with a heart to change the world. I am so blessed to have you as my flower girl, Miss Althea.

Colt is my Godson and Sammie’s first son. I’ve had the pleasure of being a part of Colt’s life since he was born. He was loved from the second we knew he existed. Watching him grow throughout his life has been nothing short of amazing. Being his Godmother has been more fulfilling than I could have imagined. I love him and his Mother so much! I am blessed to have you as my Ring Bearer AND a Groomsman in my wedding!
