International Flights

For our American friends & family arriving directly from the US, you will need to fly to a larger travel hub (London, Dublin, Paris, and Amsterdam are all good options) and have a connection to Bordeaux. Flights to Europe are typically overnight, so we recommend taking a flight Thursday 15th in the evening at the latest if you can. If flying into Paris, you can either take a flight to the Bordeaux airport or book a high-speed train ticket via this website: https://www.sncf-connect.com/. Another great option is to fly via Aer Lingus (Irish company) to Dublin, and then take a flight to Bordeaux. You may need to book separate tickets for the connecting flight. These flights are typically a little cheaper than your average airline, and on the way back you will go through US customs in Dublin before your flight, which makes for an easier arrival back to the US! We will also be updating the site to provide more information on transportation from the Bordeaux airport in the months before the wedding.
