what is the dress code?

Answer

Formal but causal. It will be on the beach so be comfortable and cool.

What will the weather be like in December?

Answer

Highs will be in the 80's and Lows are in the low 70's.

Will ceremony and reception be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Ceremony will be on the beach and reception will be outdoors on the hotel deck which is covered and has a nice breeze.

What happens after the ceremony?

Answer

Bridal party will be taking pictures nearby for an hour. Guest will take hotel boat back to the hotel and head to reception hall where there will be beverages and hors d'oeuvres.

Are there other wedding events I can attend?

Answer

We are planning on having a Sunday brunch for those who stay a few more days after the wedding. More details to follow.

What time should I arrive?

Answer

All guests should be at the resort marina no later than 3:30 pm. The ferry will be schedule for 3:30 pm. Approximately 8-10 minute ride to Palomino Island. If you get sea-sick, please take dramamine or ginger chews in advance. The hotel should have some to purchase. It can take 5-10 minutes off the boat and then we will walk to the ceremony area. The ceremony will start at 4pm. We will return on the boat at 5pm.

Where should guests park if renting a car and is parking included?

Answer

Hotel guest with rental cars will park in self parking. Currently there is no charge for parking but if it changes, you will be notified.

Yes, please let us know by the RSVP date so we can get a final headcount.

Can I take and post pictures of the wedding on social media?

Answer

yes, we encourage guests to post pictures on their social media channels, only request is that you tag each photo with out wedding hashtag #takingontodorovic so that we can keep track of all of your pictures.
