We will be flying into Malta on Sept 30, 2025, and staying in Valetta, near our favorite bar in the city, Cafe Society.

There are many Aibnbs and hotels in this area for very reasonable cost, and I would suggest using Booking.com for the best options. About 15 minutes by Bolt is another city, with many options as well.

Bolt will be your main mode of transportation, as driving is questionable and public transportation is not consistent. Bolts run fairly cheap, especially with larger groups.
