Since the pandemic isn't over yet, what can I expect?

Answer

UPDATED 8/12: Please bring a mask to our celebration. The event will take place outside of the museum on the terrace, rain or shine underneath a tent, although guests will be allowed to utilize the museum. While indoors, Philadelphia REQUIRES the use of masks, regardless of vaccination status. Masks will also be required on the shuttles to and from the hotel.

Is there parking for the ceremony and reception?

Yes. The museum resides in a beautiful park with plenty of parking that can accommodate all of our guests.

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

We secured rooms at 2 hotels in Center City that are approximately 15 minutes, by car, from the museum (see Accommodations). We chose these hotels to provide our guests with a true Philadelphia experience in a great neighborhood. Both hotels are within walking distance to some of Philadelphia's main attractions including the Art Museum, the Rocky statue and steps, LOVE park, City Hall, Reading Terminal Market, and Rittenhouse Square.

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

Yes. The motorcoach will depart from the Sonesta at 4pm followed by the Sofitel at 4:15pm. For the return trip, the coach will leave the museum at 9pm and 10pm. If you miss it, an Uber will run you approx. $20. According to Philadelphia transportation guidelines, masks are required on the shuttle.
