Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony will begin promptly at 4 pm. Please arrive at 3:30 pm to enjoy the music and get settled before the ceremony.

Do you have a hotel block?

Answer

Yes! We have a hotel block at Hotel Sutter in Sutter Creek, about 20 minutes from Ione. Please see the travel page for information about the room block and shuttle service.

Is there transportation to and from the wedding venue?

Answer

There will be a shuttle from Hotel Sutter for guests staying in our hotel block. For those not taking the shuttle, we recommend taking a taxi if you prefer not to drive (Uber and Lyft options are very limited). Check out our Travel page for more information.

Is there parking at the venue?

Answer

Yes, there is a parking lot at the Heirloom Inn as well as street parking. Overflow parking is located next to the venue in the adjacent commercial parking lot. Please note that overnight parking is not permitted within the Heirloom Inn gates.

Are kids invited?

As much as we love your little ones, this will be an adult only celebration. Thank you for understanding.

What is the dress code?

Answer

Cocktail attire is suggested. It can get hot in September (upper 80s). The venue is a garden courtyard but it is paved, so don't worry about trying to walk on grass in heels.

Can I take pictures during your wedding ceremony?

Answer

We kindly request that all cell phones and cameras be put away during the ceremony. We would love for you to be fully present with us as we exchange our vows. In appreciation, we will happily share our photos with you afterward.

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Please let us know of any dietary restrictions when you RSVP and we will make sure the caterer knows. We want you to be safe and comfortable!
