San Antonio Riverwalk
The Riverwalk (or officially the Historic Downtown Riverwalk) is located centrally downtown on the natural bend of the San Antonio river. There are restaurants, shops, public art displays, and boat tours. We love the boat tour! The Riverwalk (downtown and museum reach) are open container.
Riverwalk - Mission Reach
The Riverwalk extends 10 miles to the south. Grab an E-bike or ride-share-hop along the Mission Reach to enjoy Southtown and South Alamo Street, the Blue Star Arts Complex, or one of the four historic Spanish missions along the trail.
Riverwalk - Museum Reach
Head north along the river to find a number of restaurants, bars, the San Antonio Museum of Art, and the Pearl. This section totals 2 miles from Downtown to the Pearl. We live in this area!
Pearl
The Pearl is our favorite public space! It has coffee, art shops, a book store, ice cream, a local market, and turtles. We've spent many mornings and date nights here! There is a Farmer's market Saturday and Sunday from 9-2. You can reach it by walking North along the river (a little over a mile from downtown) or via ride-share!
Make Ready Market / Avenue B
A collection of counter-service restaurants and one of our favorite bars in Idle Beer Hall. Nearby are three more of our favorite spots - Mila coffee, Pete's Tako house, and, for Pizza and Beer, Back Unturned Brewing Company.
