Both the ceremony and reception are being held at St Mary's Boat Club, located at 1641 Fairfield Rd in Halifax. This is just a quick ten minute drive from downtown Halifax. There is also parking available onsite.

What does the timeline for the day look like?
Answer
Please arrive anytime between 2:30-2:50pm. Following the ceremony, the bride and groom, along with the wedding party will be doing some photos but all guests can head into the reception area. Reception will start by 5:00pm and wrap up by 10:00pm.

Is the wedding indoor or outdoors?
Answer
The ceremony will take place outside on the balcony, with the reception inside the boat club. Be sure to bring a sweater as it is on the water so could be a little chilly in early October!

What is the dress code?
Answer
Semi formal or dressy casual. Bring out the lovely autumn colors! Just be sure to avoid the burnt or rusty orange color as the bridesmaids will be decked out in that shade.

Will there be a rehearsal dinner?
Answer
We will be having a meet & greet on Thursday, October 2nd. It will be held at the Courtyard by Marriott Halifax Downtown, 5120 Salter St; from 5:00-7:00pm. We will have some appetizers and a cash bar. We just want to have an opportunity for everyone to meet before the big day!
