We met at the University of Houston in 2013 when we were both undergrads. Melanie had just started school as Freshman, while Matthias was beginning his Junior year. We were in different programs and had different groups of friends but our paths crossed one evening at the university dining hall. The rest, as they say, is history. ​ We studied together though we didn’t take any of the same classes and went to countless football games and events. Time continued to fly by and we soon were planning trips together, Matthias was starting graduate school, and we got our first apartment. ​ We could not be more excited to celebrate the next step in our journey with each of you, who have played (and will continue to play) such an important part in our adventure!
