Flight availability and prices can fluctuate, so securing your travel plans early will help ensure the best options (please see below for more travel information). Cape Town International Airport (CPT) is the main airport to fly into, and we recommend checking various airlines for the best deals. 1.Passport Requirements: -Validity: At least 30 days beyond departure date (please check this amount of time) -Blank Pages: At least two consecutive blank pages for entry stamps. 2.Visa Requirements: -U.S. Citizens: No visa required for stays up to 90 days. -Other Nationalities: Check visa requirements based on nationality. 3.Health and Vaccinations: -Yellow Fever Certificate: Required if traveling from a risk area. -COVID-19: Currently no mandatory requirements, but check closer to travel.

1.Flights to Cape Town: Direct Flights: United Airlines offers a non-stop flight from Newark Liberty International Airport (EWR) to Cape Town International Airport (CPT), approximately 14-15 hours. 2.Connecting Flights: -Via Johannesburg (JNB): Direct flights from the U.S. (United from Newark, Delta from Atlanta) with a 2-hour domestic flight to Cape Town. -Via European or Middle Eastern Hubs: One-stop flights through cities like London, Dubai, Doha, or Frankfurt via airlines such as British Airways, Emirates, Qatar Airways, and Lufthansa. 3.Alternative Routes: Consider connecting via Europe or the Middle East to avoid Johannesburg, offering a more seamless journey with only one layover.

- Shuttle Services: Complimentary shuttles from some hotels in Cape Town. - Uber/Taxi: Widely available and convenient. - Car Rentals: Available at the airport for self-exploration.
