It all began in our freshman year math class. We quickly became friends and started spending time with the same group, never imagining where it would lead. Marcos was busy playing football, baseball, and basketball, and Melanie— a cheerleader—was there cheering him on from the very beginning. As the high school years flew by, friendship slowly turned into something more. By junior year, we took the next step, and on November 12, 2017, our story truly began—marking the start of a journey that would change our lives forever. From graduating high school side by side, to attending college together, and stepping into adulthood hand in hand, we have always walked this path together. After eight and a half incredible years, every moment has led us right here—to this next chapter.
