These caves used to be a legitimate underground speakeasy. Go for a night of drinks and swing dancing on a Thursday, or get a tour of the caves and learn about the mob and gangster activity that happened there over the last 150 years!
If you love live music (particularly jazz), this is the spot to go for great food and even better entertainment! Be sure to check out their website for a schedule of performers and ticket prices, if you want the best seat in the house. Or you can call a few weeks ahead of time for a dinner reservation - tables go fast!
This is the largest lake in Minneapolis and is part of a beautiful chain of lakes in the city. It’s a great place to get a taste of Minnesota lake life - bum out on the modest beach, rent a canoe, kayak, paddle board, or bike, have a picnic, or walk around the trails surrounding the lake.
This is our favorite spot for coffee in the Twin Cities. There are several other Spyhouse locations, but this is our go-to. It’s very close to St. Charles Borromeo (where we are getting married), and the vibes are super fun!
This historic street in Minneapolis is home to many local restaurants (our favorite is Aster Cafe) and is right next door to the Stone Arch Bridge - a Minneapolis staple. This is one of the best spots to soak in views of the Mississippi and walk some scenic trails.
